Meet Dr. Kerr Mesner
My name is Kerr Mesner, Ph.D., and I bring decades of experience leading workshops in a range of workplaces. I am committed to building queer community, and helping all of us create workplaces that fully support LGBTQIA+ employees.

Building Queer Community in Challenging Times

This workshop, custom designed in response to our current sociopolitical climate, offers a space for LGBTQIA+ people to explore strategies for personal grounding, community-building, and responding to the challenges facing our communities.

Celebrating Gender and Sexual Diversity in Challenging Times

This workshop is geared to LGBTQIA+ employees and aspiring allies, looking at foundational terminology and ideas, workplace practices, and practical action steps we can take to better support our LGBTQIA+ colleagues.

Workshop Details

  • Workshops are 60 minutes long, on zoom, with time for questions and discussion.
  • Single workshop fee: $1,400, both workshops as a package: $2,500.
  • In person and bespoke workshops also available.

Kerr Mesner is a queer/transgender consultant, educator, facilitator, performing artist, and activist.

He completed his Ph.D. at the University of British Columbia, and taught for several years in Education and Women’s/Trans/Queer Studies. Through his company Heart Story Consulting, he supports nonprofits, businesses, and educational institutions in creating spaces that honor diversity, with a particular focus on the work of celebrating gender diversity.
